OUR MINISTRIES
We have many ministries in which you can get involved. Here is just a highlight of a few. Check out the subpages under the Ministries Tab for more details on specific ministries of First United Methodist Church of Delran.
Prayer
We should all be involved in prayer; it is one of the major keys in a relationship with God. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation with God; listening to God is just as important as talking to God.
Join our prayer chain and receive prayer concerns by email from our office by contacting the office and asking to be put on the prayer chain email list.
Small Groups
We have several small groups that you can join. These groups include home Bible studies as well as groups that are focused on outreach, music, caring for our facility, age level, a group focused on the women of our church, and more. Check out what is happening in some of the groups by clicking on the Small Groups tab under the Ministries tab.
Sunday school
We offer Sunday school for all age levels. Come and learn more about your faith on Sunday mornings. See what time your age specific Sunday school class meets by clicking on the Events tab.
Youth
We have a very active Youth and Children's ministry. These programs include Wacky Wednesday for chlldren in Kindergarten through Fifth grade, Totally Thursday for our teens, both Jr. and Sr. high youth group programs as well as youth mission trip opportunities. Check out the Youth Ministries page under the Ministies tab for more information.
Music
During Sunday morning worship our music is led by our Praise Team. We are always looking for more singers and musicians. If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, let us know and we would be happy to have you as a part of our music ministry.
Community service
Community service is one of our main foci here at First United Methodist Church. We work with the local food closet, provide special gifts for those in need during Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas, our Basin and Towel ministry provides monthly gifts of cleaning products, health care, and toiletries for those who use our community food bank, and much more.
